Beautiful Topaz, but what diamonds? May 11, 2010

I was a little disappointed when I received this bracelet because the pave diamonds look more like plain sterling silver and the bangle itself is very big and loose. I understand its a bangle one size fits all but I guess I thought it would be a little smaller. Nonetheless I still kept it because the blue topaz is gorgeous surrounded by the gold overlay.

I was looking for cheap, last minute Mother's Day gifts for my mom and my boyfriend's mom. Along with the topaz (my boyfriend's birthstone) I purchased one with a sapphire (my birthstone). They were very light and definitely had that cheap jewelry feel. The stones were nice (the sapphire especially dark and lovely), but the overall feel of the jewelry wasn't very good.
